【Fan-cooling condenser

Determined by the environment temperature, a higher temperature makes a higher condensing temperature. Generally, the condensation temperature is 7 ℃~ 12 ℃ higher than the environment temperature when use a fan-cooled condenser, this temperature range  we called heat transfer temperature difference. The higher the condensing temperature, the lower the refrigeration efficiency of the refrigeration unit will be .So we will control the heat transfer temperature difference. But if you want to achieve a small heat transfer temperature difference, then the heat exchange area of air cooling condenser and the air volume of circulation will be bigger,which makes a higher cost of fan cooling condenser.

The temperature range is - 20 ℃ to 55 ℃. Usually,fan-cooled condensers are not  recommended to the regions that the environment temperature is higher than 42 ℃ . So whether you could choose air-cooled condenser, the first thing you have to confirm is the environment temperature. Generally,when design fan-cooled ice machine, we will ask the customer to provide the local environment of the highest dry bulb temperature throughout the year.

Advantages

Disadvantages

Higher costs.

High condensation temperature with the low efficiency of refrigeration units.

The Cooling Performance

Determined by the temperature of environmental wet bulb,the higher the temperature of environment wet bulb is , the higher the condensing temperature will be. In general cases, use water cooled condenser, condensation temperature is about 5 ~ 7 ℃ higher than the  temperature of environmental wet bulb.

Temperature Limitation

The range of the temperature is no higher than 55 ℃ and no less than 20 ℃. Normally, water cooled condenser are not recommended to the region with a environmental wet bulb temperature of more than 42 ℃ . So whether we can choose water cooled condenser, the first thing we have to confirm is the wet bulb temperature of the environment.

Generally when we design a water-cooled ice machine, we will have to ask the customer to provide the local environment of the highest wet bulb temperature throughout the year. When the temperature exceeds 50 ℃, we also cannot use water-cooled condenser, because the cooling tower must be used with the protection of keeping away form the high temperature.

 

The Working Principle

The  refrigerant gases of high temperature and high pressure get into the shell of the condenser from the air inlet on the the top of the condenser, the cooled water pump take out the water from water storage tank of the cooling tower, then flow into the condenser tube passes to higher the temperature by doing heat exchange with the refrigerant outside the condenser copper pipe.Then the water comes out from the outlet of the condenser on the right side and flows into the cooling tower of the inlet line, again by the outlet hose, evenly spread on the packing, through the water in the suction fan and having the heat exchange with the packing to lower the temperature, the cooled water is stored within the reservoir to use again.

The refrigerant gas of high temperature and high pressure are in the shell of the condenser has the heat transfer with cooled water flowing in the tube. It condenses into a state of liquid when the temperature is low enough.Refrigeration unit of heat removal does the heat exchange with water first (occurs in the condensation heat exchange), then comes to the heat exchange of water and the air (the heat transfer in cooled tower ).

  

The Advantages of Water Cooled Condenser

Lower the condensation temperature of refrigeration unit, improve the refrigeration efficiency

The initial investment cost is lower than air-cooled condenser and evaporation-cooled  condenser

 

The cooling effect is good, suitable for large and medium refrigeration system

The Working Principle

The working principle of evaporative condenser is to send the high-temperature steam into coil from the upper heat exchange coil inlet , the high-temperature steam gives off heat in the heat exchange coil and it will change into liquid after being cooled . In the external of heat exchange coil take the circular spray water as a cooling medium, enable the water spray uniformly on the surface of the heat exchange coil , forming a layer of even moderate water film, water film absorbs the heat that gives off from the hot  steam, and then make the steam out of the evaporative condenser through the fan while give  the heat in the coil away. The latent heat of evaporation of evaporative condenser with spraying water, take ambient air as the medium,and take the temperature of environmental wet bulb as the temperature difference to finish the heat exchange, low condensation temperature, big heat transfer temperature difference and less power consumption, stable performance, etc.
