Why the Cold Storage Refrigerator Does not Work and the Solution
There are numerous reasons for why the strike of the cold storage refrigeration, when we found that the temperature of the cold storage is not low enough, it does not freeze ,or there is an increase of power consumption, the first thing we have to consider is that if there is any breakage to the cold storage or insulation damage together to make a poor cold storage insulation or sealed performance, which results in increasing the loss of cooling capacity.
Usually a poor heat insulation performance is due to the insulation layer thickness of the pipe,the heat insulation wall of the warehouse is not enough.The bad effect of heat insulation and heat preservation is mainly because of an improper choice of the thickness design or the poor quality of the insulation layer. In addition,the performance of moisture proof is likely to be damaged during the usage process of insulation materials ,which leads to the bad effect to the insulation layer ,such as be affected with damp, deformation, erosion, and even the loss of heat insulation, increase the loss of cooling capacity,and disable the temperature slow down significantly. Another important reason for the great loss of the cooling capacity is the poor sealing performance of the freezer.The hot air keep going inside the freezer from the air leakage all the time.If there is the moisture condensation in the sealing strip or the seal coat of warehouse door, that is to say the seal cold storage insulation wall is not tight.In addition, frequently switching the door of the warehouse or more people together into the warehouse both will increase the cooling capacity loss of the warehouse.We should avoid to open the door too often to prevent a lot of hot air into the warehouse. Of course, a frequent or big stock work will make the heat load increases sharply,it will take a long time to cool the whole room.
The second situation may be there is some problems with the heat dissipation performance of the cold storage equipment.Generally it is because there is too much dust or the over thick frost to the surface of the evaporator,which leads to the decrease of the heat transfer effect.
Generally when comes to the temperature of the cold storage has a slow decline , another important reason is that the low efficiency of the heat transfer of the evaporator. This is mainly due to the too thickness of the frost or there is too much dust on the surface of the evaporator. Because most of the surface temperature of the evaporator in the cold storage is lower than 0 ℃, the relative humidity of the warehouse is higher, the moisture in the air is extremely easy to frost in the surface the evaporator,sometimes even freeze , influence the effect of heat transfer in the evaporator.
In order to prevent the over-thickness of the frost layer on the surface of the evaporator , we have to do a regular and basis defrost to the evaporator. Here are two simple defrosting methods:
1 The outage defrosting: namely stop the operation of the compressor, and open the door of the cold-room, picks the temperature up, after the frost layer melting automatically, then restart the compressor and close the door again.
2 Frost washing: after putting the goods out of warehouse, directly dissolve frost layer with the tap water of higher temperature of tap water
Except for the thickness of the frost will lead to poor performance of the evaporator heat transfer, its efficiency will be significantly decreased with the over-thick dust of the evaporator.
