Ice machine is a kind of ice refrigeration equipment which makes ice by putting through water to the evaporator to cool the refrigerant in the cooling system .With the help of the refrigeration system, take water as a carrier, the device makes ice in the condition of electricity . According to the principles of the evaporator and the difference of production mode , the generated ice shape is different; People tend to classify them by their shapes，so ice machine can be divided into granular ice machine, flake ice machine, plate ice machine shell, shell ice machine, and s o on.
Through the water valve, water automatically entered into a water storage tank, and then the flow control valve pumps the water to the tap head, where water sprays evenly on the surface of the ice , the water begin again the work cycle and were not frozen water evaporation will through porous slot into the water storage tank.
When the ice reaches to the required thickness (thickness can be chosen by the operator/user arbitrary) the compressor discharge the heat back into the inner wall of the ice machine ,to replace the cryogenic liquid refrigerant. So it will form a layer of water film between ice and evaporation tube , the film of water will be freely fall into the trough by gravity of the state of ice ,which has the effect of lubrication. In the mining cycle of ice water will back into the water storage tank through the porous slot, this also prevents the wet ice discharging by a machine.

When the ice turns into a certain thickness ,and the temperature of the refrigerant evaporation reaches to the setting temperature , the machine automatically comes to defrosting stage ,which again comes to the next cycle.
