Vertical glass display coolers ,we commonly known as refrigerated display cases, and we also call them refrigerated cases or merchandising coolers and chillers , which are used to display bottle drinks ,milk vegetables ,foods ,tea leaves and other cooled items. A vertical glass display cooler is composed of lighting system and refrigeration system. The refrigeration system consists of a compressor, a condenser, an evaporator and the expansion valves or a capillary tube. The material of the case is steel plate or coated plate , inside filling with polyurethane foamed materials.

There are two kinds of vertical glass display coolers :enclosed type (with glass door )and open type(non-glass-door) .We usually called the former ones glass door display coolers and for the latter ones ,we always called them air curtian merchanding cooler and use them in the fruit shops or food shops.

Currently ,most of the vertical glass display coolers are equipped with remote refrigeration system (It is like putting the refrigeration accessories outdoors like the household air conditioner). It is because the compressor for the commercial refrigeration unit features larger horsepower when you compare them with the household ones ,so hanging the annoying and huge compressor outdoors is not only saves a lot of space for storing more display items ,but also would reduce the noise from the working of the compressor. What’s more, it is good for the heat dissipation inside the application site.

But for some shop-keepers ,they would prefer to glass display coolers with built-in refrigeration system for this kind of coolers are easy to move and it is cheaper than the remote refrigeration ones.

The most important thing for glass display cooler is about the maintenance ,which has a great relationship in its functional using and life time  .

Take circular tube instead of rectangular one, enlarge the contacting surface with cooling conduction by point contact into surface contact, expanding the conduction area, to speed up the cooling effect.
