We usually set  a temperature range of 4 to 10 degree for a open air merchandising cooler with gear 1 or 2 in summer and gear 4 or 5 in winter .Keeping  a stable and suitable temperature inside the merchandising coolers is very important for us to store what we have to store. For example ,if we set a much low temperature for it ,there may forms icy frost ,which is different from usual frost and it is harder to remove. So we  do have to adjust the temperature in different seasons .

Loose door seal or opening  the door  too frequently , will make the cold air come out from the refrigerator unit, we have to make an in time  replacement for door gaskets. Every time before we open a refrigerator door ，we have to think about what we have to access and take out from the case,after doing it ,we should close the door immediately .Or it will increase the power consumption and increase the frost inside the refrigerator.

Keep a certain distance among the inner displaying items or storing items, don't put them as crowded as possible , try not close to the inner bladder wall. If there is water on the food items ,then store the items with a  plastic bag or store them after being dried..this would help you to reduce the times for defrosting. In the meanwhile ,we  have to adjust a suitable temperature for the refrigerated unit.
